Fibre Optic Training

Fibre Optic Training

AULDA Sponsorship

Welcome to the Youth Empowerment Fibre Optic Training Program, an initiative aimed at reducing youth unemployment and poverty in South Africa by providing training in fibre optic technology to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Call to action

South Africa has one of the highest

youth unemployment rate

South Africa has one of the highest youth unemployment rates in the world, with over 50% of young people aged 15-24 being unemployed. This has resulted in a significant number of young people in South Africa struggling to find meaningful employment and contributing to the overall economic growth of the country.

Why this Program

The Youth Empowerment Fibre Optic Training Program was established to address this issue by equipping unemployed young people with the necessary skills and certifications to pursue a career in the fibre optic industry. Our program offers hands-on training in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fibre optic cables, as well as theoretical instruction in the underlying technology. Through this training, we hope to provide the opportunity for young people to develop practical skills, improve their employability, and ultimately contribute to the growth of the telecommunications industry in South Africa.

OUR MISSION IN THIS PROGRAM

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive training program that empowers young people with the skills they need to succeed in the fibre optic industry. We believe that by investing in youth employment and skills development, we can help build a stronger and more prosperous South Africa.
